Jeanne Harber Porter, MSW, LCSW, ACSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jeanne provides a safe, supportive, and caring place for personal growth and healing for her clients. She has extensive experience using an eclectic approach with various forms of therapy based on the particular needs of adolescents, adults, lesbians/gays, transgenders, individuals, couples, and families. She possesses a wide-range of knowledge from years of helping individuals with all forms of sexual, physical, emotional, and mental abuse. She is extremely skilled in working with anxiety, guilt, shame, grief, anger, and stress management. In addition to self-esteem, intimacy, relationship, spirituality, and codependency issues, other areas of expertise include personality disorders, posttraumatic stress, and depression. Jeanne is a certified trainer in both Couple and Core Communication Skills training, as well as ThriveSphere™. She is currently the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Region 3 Representative. She also serves on the Governor’s Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Standards and Certification Board representing the mental health field. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University of Indianapolis. Her B.A. in Psychology and A.S. in Mental Health are from Purdue University, Fort Wayne.
