Kendra earned her B.A. in psychology from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and she earned her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the College of St. Catherine / University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, she returned to the community to continue her passion of helping people on their journeys. She enjoys working with a variety of ages and issues. She sees a balance of adults, children, and adolescents, finding success in helping people cope with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, Self-Harm, Addiction, Phase-of-Life Issues, Grief and Loss, and Postpartum Depression. She spent 6 years working in residential treatment helping clients recover from addiction, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, and the trauma of loss. She has significant experience helping families adjust to issues of grief and loss, divorce, separation, adoption, abuse, and trauma. She believes in the importance of helping the whole family heal. Kendra also spent time working in the school systems as a school therapist and enjoys helping students overcome school issues (peer relations, school refusal, and ADD / ADHD). She is skilled in providing both individual and family sessions. She has extensive experience with group work and uses an eclectic approach including DBT, CBT, Solution-Focused, Process, Assertiveness Training, Conflict Resolution, and Motivational types of group work.
