Mary K. Reiter, MS, HSPP
Mary’s background includes over 30 years practicing in community mental health. She has extensive experience in working with adults of all ages, children, and their families. She has developed numerous workshops, seminars and retreats on a variety of topics including assertive communication and integrating meditation and relaxation practices into daily life. She has also produced a cd called “Time To Relax” which can be purchased through her office.
Her approach to psychotherapy is psychodynamic in nature, integrating behavioral, cognitive, and rational emotive techniques. Hypnotherapy and mind/body issues are among her areas of expertise. She especially enjoys group therapy and believes that it is one of the most valuable methods of treatment because it adds the element of relationship to the healing process.
"It is difficult to find happiness within oneself, but it is impossible to find it anywhere else."
