Background
Angela obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University School of Social Work. She has over 20 years of experience working in community advocacy, suicide prevention, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Angela has specialized training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Applied Suicide Intervention Skills® (ASIST), safeTALK®, and Question, Persuade, & Refer® (QPR).
Therapeutic Approach/Specialties
Angela’s specialties include helping individuals with anxiety, depression, anger management, grief and loss, addictions, effective communication, assertiveness, emotion regulation, abuse, and trauma. She utilizes an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Angela is passionate about educating, advocating, and ending the stigma associated mental health.
